I ordered one of these in the grey color earlier this week should have it middle of next week. I'll let you know how I like it. I might even do a YouTube review on it.

I hope that one day the wealthiest working person could only make 2x to 3x of the poorest working person. God, would that change the world for ever. Seems like change for the sake of change. Hardly a groundbreaking new feature.
It's not about being groundbreaking perse. It's about making the look & feel of the UI similar to iOS devices so that those who use are using iOS devices but switching to the Mac don't have a steep learning curve.

Must we get involved in this? Can't France do something for once by themselves, or any other european nations for that matter? When was the last time they even fired a weapon? Netflix is made for movies! I love Apple but they'll never do for movies what Netflix has! In the past 5 weeks, I've had 21 movies delivered to my door. I'm on the 3-at-a-time plan (unlimited for $17.99/mo). Also, I can buy tons of used DVDs for $5.99 that are 100% guaranteed!
I think a dollar a song is one thing because you can pick and choose from an album so the trade-off for quality is justified. However, $9.99 is a lot to ask for something that is very low quality, only looks really good an a 2" screen and takes a long time to download. Right now, we don't even know if you can back the file up or burn to a DVD. I think Apple will do ok, but I don't see it being the same bonanza that that music was/is.

Not hard for Apple to stop this with something like a digital signature allowing your pod to only sync with your library

I'm looking forward to seeing the new iMacs (and eventually Mac Minis).
Computer-wise I'm set for the next 3 years, but it's always nice to see the computers get updated.
Fingers crossed for no screen etc. issues.

No way would I pay an extra $500 for an 8% faster machine and a slighly larger display, when for that money I can go with the 20" and buy a second widescreen 20" display and have a HUGE viewable area.
The 23" is going to have to be a LOT closer to the 20" in order for it to sell. I'm thinking $1899 or $1999, or else it will have to be decked out with extra RAM, HD space, or CPU speed.
There are of course disadvantages to dual displays...

I work at a local newspaper in Sweden. The keynote starts about 19:00 here i think. I have not been able to work yet today, as MR takes up about 90% of my time. I hope everyone will be pleased with the keynote, and that MRs coverage will be as good as it always is! Cheers guys! =)

I always find Apple's innovations appealing... they tend to get it right these days.
But the first thought that leapt to my mind upon seeing the headline was, "if you think it's hard keeping your iPhone/iPad screens clean now... just wait!"
I hate fingerprints on my desktop monitor as it is... I'm like the guard dog barking at anyone jabbing the screen leaving smudges on it. :p
What might be cooler is a "touchpad" that sits on the desk, acts like a laptop trackpad, but also enables direct interaction with "iOS" elements onscreen?
